Renewing or updating your DS-2019

• Your Form DS-2019 is issued by your program sponsor's Responsible Officer (RO). It must stay accurate and current throughout your J-1 program.
• An updated DS-2019 is not always about expiration — sometimes you need a new copy because something changed in your program.
